On the evening of June 9, 2014, Linda headlined a show titled "Night After The Tonys" at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California. She was joined for this performance by Constantine Maroulis and Company of Men. Fans in Houston, Texas were relieved when Mother Nature didn’t interfere with Linda Eder’s highly anticipated concert with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall on May 29, 2014, a date more than three months after the originally scheduled date had to be cancelled. The bad weather had prevented Linda from flying to Houston for what was to be a special Valentine’s Day concert. As difficult as it was to wait for the new date to arrive, fans including Bruce Autry, Jessica Zeller, and Michael Cooke definitely agreed it was well worth the wait. Okay, we admit it… we didn’t want Christmas to end! Continuing on her Fall 2013 Tour - Part 1, Linda had a very busy schedule and spent a lot of time either on the road or in the air beginning with her concert at the Tilles Center. There was hardly time for her to unpack her suitcase before it was time for the next show. She played to very enthusiastic audiences in New Jersey, Illinois, Ohio, and wrapped up with two dates in Michigan. David Finck is an incredible bassist, who so effortlessly and skillfully backs Linda in her stage performances. He is such an important part of a small trio of equally talented musicians as well as a full orchestra. We have enjoyed catching up with David again after ten years.
On June 1, 2013, Pets Alive held their Annual Fur Ball Gala Fundraiser at the Double Tree Hotel in Tarrytown, New York. It was a grand affair, which raised much needed funds for this no-kill animal sanctuary and also honored some amazing people, whose contributions to Pets Alive play an important role in its success. The evening was made even more special when Linda took to the stage to entertain the guests. Besides traveling to Palm Springs, California and Smyrna, Delaware in April, Linda made her debut at 54 Below in New York City. For six shows beginning on April 10th, she thrilled her adoring audiences with a new show that was billed as "a walk down memory lane." The set list included songs that were important in Linda's career going back to when she was a teenager in Minnesota as well as more recent songs and fan favorites. Linda traveled to Palm Springs, California on April 2, 2013 for "Take 2" to the delight of the audience members, most of whom were present when she fell ill and was not able to complete her show in March. As she stepped out on the stage, she was greeted by a thunderous ovation that seemed to never end. On April 6th, Linda and Billy Stein traveled to Smyrna, Delaware for the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the Smyrna Opera House in Smyrna, Delaware. March, the month when Spring was supposed to bring with it some warmer weather, saw Linda on the road bringing her music to appreciative audiences. Birmingham, Alabama, greeted her with some very chilly weather tempered by a very warm welcome. Delray Beach, Florida, welcomed Linda with some warmer weather which allowed her some time to enjoy the view of the ocean and stroll through the town. The Eighth Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival at New York City’s Town Hall kicked off its season in grand style on the evening of October 13, 2012. Town Hall is truly a distinctive landmark in a city that boasts of many landmarks, having been designated a National Historic Landmark in 2012 by the National Park Service.
