Mud!!

I hate mud. I don't like in on my face or on my feet. Horses + rain = Mud!!!!

I have a long day taping a TV spot in Philly. It is for their Tree lighting. I will posat the air date when I know it.
I should find out today.

I still can't shake the lingering feeling of the start of a cold. I've had it for several days now. At the moment I don't feel so hot so this should be a "fun" day. On top of it I don't like the weather. I don't like doing barn chores in the rain. I like looking out at the cold fall rain while sitting by my fire sipping something toasty.
I'm getting old.....

I have relatives coming from Austria that will be staying with me for two weeks. Two weeks. Did I say two weeks? They are my second cousins. In other words, children of the people who I consider to be my real cousins. (I've a feeling I should have used "whom" but it's too muddy outside to use the word "whom" )

The four that are coming are all mid twentys. They all smoke non-stop and when they get off the plain and I inform them that there will be no smoking in my house....that should provide some entertainment for the next hour. :)

They all speak English, thank god, so I won't have to strain my brain with my 5 year old child level German.

Okay, I've stalled long enough. I have to get tready to leave for the TV shoot. Philly, here I come, muddy shoes and all!

When will u be in Philly. I am a huge fan and want to come out and support your appearance here. You have the greatest voice ever!! I played your song "Letting Go" at my Mother's funeral on October 6, 2008. She was a fan also. Let me know where I can come out to see and support you. You are the best!!

I saw your concert at Fairfield University and some of your other concerts. You have the greatest voice ever great presentation, but please cut the Country Rock. All that noise behind you doesn't shine that beautiful voice. Love ya, Rodney

I used to love mud, but I don't anymore. Here is a rhyme I learned as a child... No one knows what the rose bush knows how good mud feels between your toes. A silly ditty, but it's raining and getting muddy here. I don't want to go outside because it's cold and muddy. EEEEEEwwwwweee! Like your blog... nice layout.

== (I've a feeling I should have used "whom" but it's too muddy outside to use the word "whom" ) == Well, see my post on this sort of thing here: http://staringatemptypages.blogspot.com/2008/11/to-whom-it-may-concern.html On the other hand, you should have used "who" instead of "that" in the first sentence ("I have relatives..."). And the children of your first cousins are not second cousins, but first cousins once removed. Your second cousins are the children of your parents' cousins. Aren't you glad you asked? :-) Happy new year to you and all your cousins.
