To the EDER-tors of THE VOICE, it's an honor and also our pleasure once again to publish another edition of THE VOICE for you, the fans of Linda Eder. We know you'll enjoy reading this edition as much as we have enjoyed putting it together with the help of Linda and so many wonderful fans.

From all the positive feedback we receive after each new edition is released, it is very obvious to us that Linda's letter is always a highlight. We think everybody will agree that it is always so amazing that Linda takes the time to write a letter and/or answer questions for her fans in each and every edition of THE VOICE. In this edition, Linda's letter brings us some great news to celebrate with her… a new CD!

How lucky we are that the incomparable guitarist, Peter Calo, has returned to work with Linda in the TOSOM band! We have gotten to know him so much better over the past several months as we were working on his interview. His talent is natural and knows no bounds. The scope of the work he has done, as not only a guitarist, but also as a vocalist, producer, composer, arranger, songwriter, recording artist, and performer, is so impressive. You will learn what an incredible talent he is when you read Peter's interview and also see him jamming on stage in the video. Be sure to read more about Peter and view his extensive discography by visiting his Web site at www.petercalo.com.

Fans fortunate enough to attend one of Linda's Christmas shows in 2008 were treated to a brand new experience this year. They were able to enjoy their favorite Christmas music with a new twist… the TOSOM band accompanied Linda for her holiday shows, and it is safe to say that it was very well received. One of the highlights of the show was Linda's new song, "Christmas Where You Are," and we have included a portion of her performance of this song.

Although we dedicated much of the last edition of THE VOICE to Linda's latest CD, THE OTHER SIDE OF ME, we didn't want to publish this edition without reflecting back on Linda's performance of this music at The Blender in New York City. Linda and the TOSOM Band ROCKED New York that night!

Love is in the air! Many people credit Linda and her music for making special love connections and memories in their lives. Linda's music played a special part in the beautiful love story of a Tennessee couple by the name of Trisha and Jim Rice, and they have shared that experience with Linda's fans in words and pictures. Many of Linda's fans have developed life-long friendships as a result of being part of Linda's fan base. Our EDER-tor, Amanda Feliu (formerly Christensen) and her new husband Michael shared the experience of their wedding with so many Eder fans attending and even being part of the ceremony and wedding party. In addition, Valentine's Day was extra special this year for some lucky people who spent the evening of Valentine's Day with Linda in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and their glowing reviews reflect what a magical evening it was.

Once again, we are pleased to present FAN-tastic Feature. Bill Budris has shared his thoughts with Linda's fans on attending back-to-back Linda concerts, two shows that couldn't be more different. He thoroughly enjoyed a TOSOM show followed by a Standards show the following evening. Christi Simpson was thrilled to be able to attend Linda's first show ever in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She waited many years for Linda to come to her state and from her review of this experience, it appears that it was well worth the wait!

In the last edition, Linda graciously allowed us to publish some Funny Face pictures taken by THE VOICE and her fans. Fans submitted captions to go along with the photos in our Funny Faces Photo caption contest. You can read the winning captions here.

No edition of THE VOICE would be complete without the fan photos and special messages that make up Fan Corner, and this is always one of Linda's favorite features.

As every fan of Linda knows, she works with the most incredible group of musicians in the business. They all have wonderful careers and projects in addition to the work they do with Linda, and they have shared some career updates with Linda's fans.

Shaun Barker: Since the last edition of THE VOICE, I had the pleasure of joining Linda on the
road for the "Linda Eder Rocks the Holidays" tour, which was an incredible experience all around. I recently completed my first music video. Linda fans may be especially interested to know that the video is for my recording of "Pieces." The video can be viewed on YouTube.

I've been writing songs for my second album, which I hope to start recording later this year. I also have a few songs that will appear on the next release by MajorWho Media recording artist, Todd Alsup (www.toddalsup.com), and am currently writing songs for R&B singer, GinaRe Womack, daughter of soul legend, Bobby Womack. I'm planning on booking a few shows of my own for the spring/summer, and I am looking forward to more TOSOM shows in the near future!

I want to thank all of Linda's wonderful fans who have been so supportive over the past year, and I hope to see you all soon at the next show!

Dan Levine: I played trombone in the band backing up Liza Minnelli for the month of December at the Palace Theatre in New York. Another band I'm involved in, They Might Be Giants, just won a Grammy Award for the CD HERE COME THE 123s. I performed on it and contributed horn arrangements. This is the band's second Grammy. The first was for the theme song to "Malcolm In The Middle," which I also performed on and contributed the horn arrangement. I am currently (June, 2009) touring in Germany with Liza Minnelli.

Billy Stein: I am presently working on the Broadway production of U2's Spiderman. I recently finished producing and mixing a new album with Tony-winner LaChanze entitled LOVE. Concurrently, I have been working on the launch of the US tour of "Handel's Messiah Rocks" and composing music for several TV shows, including Showtime's new original TV series "Nurse Jackie" and the A&E series "Paramormal State," as well as several upcoming shows on the Viacom network. For more information, you can visit my Web site at www.strangecranium.com.

The EDER-tors of THE VOICE would like to thank the many people who helped to make this edition possible.

To Linda: As always, we are very grateful to you for your support of THE VOICE and your willingness to contribute to each and every edition. It is a wonderful gift from you to your loyal fans and very much appreciated by them.

To Peter Calo: We did it! After trying to arrange a date that would work for all of us to meet first in person and then by phone, we finally were able to complete the interview by talking on a conference call while we were in three separate states: New York, New Jersey, and Florida! Modern technology is great! Thank you for taking the time to share your musical journey with Linda's fans. We feel so fortunate to have gotten to know you better. You are an amazing talent!

To Bill Budris and Christi Simpson: Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to contribute to this edition of THE VOICE. You both did a great job!

To Shaun Barker, Dan Levine, and Billy Stein: Thank you for keeping the fans updated on your busy and amazing careers!

To Ronni and Dave Hart: We couldn't publish THE VOICE without your continued support and assistance. Thank you!

To Jeff Osborne: Thank you for all your behind-the-scenes help! It is greatly appreciated.

To The Fans: We are so grateful for all your support… e-mails, letters, photos, and written submissions for THE VOICE! Keep those submissions coming! You are the best!

Happy reading!

Warmest regards,
