To Linda, With Love...

Dear Linda Fans,

Linda has touched our hearts and our lives in so many ways. We would like to share some messages that will make you laugh, make you cry, and a very special love story.

THE VOICE

Being a HUGE Rosie O'Donnell fan, my husband and I first saw Linda on Rosie’s show a few years ago. She instantly became our top female singer, along with her song “Even Now.” That was “OUR” song! Neither of us EVER got through that song without crying, saying that when something happened to either of us, the one left would have “Even Now” played at that funeral. Unfortunately my husband, 60, just died on 5/21/02 after a 9 month bout with lung and bone cancer. Needless to say, “Even Now” was played to an audience of wet- eyed family and friends, some of them who probably never heard this song before. The only thing that could have made the service better would have been for Linda, herself, to have been there to sing it. Thank you, Linda, for your voice, your lyrics, and YOU!!!!! You are loved!!!!

Facing financial duress as a graduate student has me worried that I will have to sacrifice Linda concerts. To appease my fears, instead of asking my parents for help with groceries and rent for next year, I've asked them to be my "Linda Eder Fix Suppliers." I'm prepared to go hungry to see Linda!

Rarely do you find a singer that has an unbelievable voice, charm, a great sense of humor, and an awesome group of talented musicians. Every time I attend a concert, my cheeks hurt so much from smiling. It’s truly a joy going to see and hear Linda Eder in concert.

Linda’s voice is an awakening for the ears. She is also a great person. Linda came out after the concert, signed autographs, spoke with everyone, and took pictures. Every concert I’ve been to and heard about Linda has always made time for her fans. Thank you!

Driving all night to see Linda in two different states within 24 hours was an adventure. By the time I finally met her at the reception, all I could manage sounded like gibberish. As always, Linda was very sweet and gracious, but probably perplexed at my strange appearance and behavior.

I first saw Linda on Star Search several years ago...but nothing compares to seeing and hearing her live on stage... Sitting in the last row of the theatre in Seattle during Jekyll... I was moved by her power and presence... She soars as she sings....Suddenly, you hear her soul...and it is beautiful.
